Agreed. They already kept the same ratio for the Fennekin line despite the feminine appearance, so this would hardly be an exception.

It's whatever gender you want it to be. It's fantasy, it doesn't even matter what the gender ratio is. Hell, I've seen some artists draw female Latios just for the hell of it even though Latios is alway male.
