in the game,the protag's age is never really explained. if you prefer to take liberty of it, it may be better to consider them as old as most pokemon protag,which is 10-12

Wonder how much the fans will stick to this one moment. The most Serena will probably get will a cameo in a later season.
I will honestly be shocked, but a little happy if Satoshi does eventually end his journey and gets together with serena, but with the way the writing is handled in this series? I highly doubt it.

The only time I've seen the character's age mentioned in the games is in the new S&M games. They mention at some point that the age to go through the trial challenges in Alola is 11.
