I will always count it as one of my regrets that I never got to fly on a 747. I did get to walk through one that was in a hangar undergoing maintenance but it was stripped down nearly to the metal on the inside. U.S. airlines simply didn't fly it domestically and I only have been able to take one overseas trip. Imagine my disappointment when it was on a DC-10 (miserable experience, by the way).
