This is the scene that takes place at "Lianport" in the NES translation (Dragon Warrior II). Some gremlins are attacking a girl (pictured over on the right) and the party (Prince of Laurasia/Midenhall/Lorasia- in blue on the right, Prince of Sumaltria/Cannock/Samantoria- in green on the left, and Princess of Moonbrook/Moonburg, in the center) save her from them, for which her father rewards them with a ship. As far as I know the villager girl doesn't have a name in any version.
