Am I the only one who felt like Kahili just kind of....happened. Like she had no weight in the game her not being there would have done nothing to deter from the game she wasn't even challenging. Or from what I experienced even foreshadowed in a Pokemon league of trainers you met on previous occasions she just kinda happened.

She was the first elite four member i fought, so i was actually hoping more of them would be unique characters. Then i did Acelola, then Hara, and by him I was like "that's weird, kahunas and trial captains simultaneously as elite four members.

I think the Kahuna's that became Elite Four members will give up their Kahuna positions for the new Pokemon League. Like Hau will replace his Grandpa and Olivia and Acerola will find replacements. I was surprised Nanu wasn't invited or Mina. I do like Kahili but I think it would have been cool to have her as the Champion you have to beat since she's the strongest Alola trainer besides you and Hau. Kukui was a nice touch though, when I saw him standing there at the end I was shocked and super surprised.
