Ash and the Sun and Moon male protagonist wear the exact same clothes. Ash's hat is just is classic red color.

@ShiftKey pretty sure that Lillie will change to this version in the anime at some point. And it woudln't even be a shock to viewers unfamiliar with the games, since it has happened with Serena already.
