Export variant of "Жугуль" have name LADA. And I think this LADA 2110. Look up on a door handle. :)

If we'll accept that it is a russian/soviet car - imho it's not LADA at all. First of all - every classic LADA have a quarter light in front doors. LADA have more "sharp" - "brick-like" forms. Here you can see, that general forms a more "soft"...
Form of the top, back window, visible part of bonnet and top of the boot (trunk) looks like a GAZ 3110 - "Volga". The only visible and clear mismatch is the door handles and mirrors.

This is Lada. 2105 because they DID produce them without quarter light in front doors AND right wheel drive, a small party for England, если мне память не изменяет.
Why dont you rather figure, which jet did they pull over?
