Come on, it's not unfair to say they're reverting to some pretty cheap animation here. Just look at Ash cycle through two frames on cells that stay the same size despite him flying away from the camera...

I don't want to notice, but I do. And, it makes me sad! Our new gals, Lillie, Suiren, Mao, Acerola, etc deserve better! They deserve the quality that the games were presented in.
