God it's so conflicting. Like, they show him dancing around like a prick for waay too long. Then they make fucking Rotom into a punching bag?! Ok, bizarre and out of character for game Rotom, which, prior to SM, was just a pokemon with hinted "mischievousness", not a butt monkey for this show.
And I know it's for kids, so they show the main character.. but the Pokemon games have already been sexually liberated! I don't see why they don't show off the ladies, Kukui, Kaki and Mamane more... since they seem pretty "major" in the show (like, even more than in the game).

And I personally see nothing wrong with Ash being the sole focus... I mean, he's the main protagonist after all, this isn't even a problem with not being "sexually liberated", because it still doesn't have the other male characters. I would've loved to see the others of course, but it's not like Ash dancing alone makes it a bad sequence.
And at least the song itself, if not the best out there, is still decent, unlike XY's terrible first ending.

Don't get me wrong, I like the basic concept of Pokemon but it has to deal with the issue that the fans have grown adult better sooner than later.
