So your idea is to starve all but two of them, then release those last two. After that, you expect two starving Pokemon to only target each other and NOT eat whatever shit crosses their path.
You changed their nature, but now they are willing to eat ANYTHING, whether or not it is fruit.
But let's entertain your idea for a minute...
Other than the fact that it would be impossible to track down every last Alolan Rattata and Raticate and force/lure them into a single pit, the two that "survive" your plan would die quickly. If they only ate others of their species, one of the remaining two would quickly be eaten by the other. With the last of their new food source gone, the last one would die of starvation, meaning you just made the Alolan variants go extinct. Congratulations.
