This game takes place like 7000 years after nier so kaine is probably not around. as I don't think she was ageless (like devola and popola are) But maybe due to her unique circumstances she is still around.

**SEMI SPOILER OF FIRST GAME**

If you go through the final ending and then read up on what happens after that in the "Grimoire NieR" thats translated online you'll see that theres a big chance she's still alive after so long.
