Anon2, I like how you point out that Sheik and Zelda are the same person, without pointing out that Tetra and Zelda are also the same person. In the same timeline, I think. It makes it pretty obvious you're not enough of a Zelda fan.

Anon4, it's likely because Zelda has the willpower to contain such an epic battle within herself.

DaHentaiGuy: Ever play Wind Waker (or even Phantom Hourglass). Tetra is Princess Zelda, although even she didn't know that.

However, allow me to fix some of this. The Zelda depicted is Twilight Princess Zelda, who has no alternate self (except in Brawl), Sheik was only her alternate self in Ocarina of Time (although the Brawl version is depicted here), and Zelda was Tetra's true self in Wind Waker.

If it helps, the text says "Zelda iroiro/Various Zeldas". So obviously the artist knew what they were doing.
