The best destroyer on the world of its times, it had insanely strong anti aircraft armament. It was sent to great Britain instead of defending Poland, so it could survive and defeat Germany with allies, (the Pekin operation). It was sent to Britain with two other destroyers, ORP Grom and ORP burza (the second one was elder than b?yskawica and Grom.) Unfortunately, the Grom was hit with the bomb and sunk within 3 minutes while burza and b?yskawica survived the war, they both served as museums but in 70's Poland decided to scrap the burza. It's sad though. I wouls love to see burza, wicher and grom also.
