That's so weird. In Majora's Mask and Breath of the Wild, they confirm that Zoras actually eat fish. Equally as weird, the Rito have no problem with eating poultry... I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Well fish do eat other fish. And birds do eat over birds. Honestly, it's beat not to think about it too much. It's more seen as an ironic joke then anything too serious.

Unsure of that in Breath of the Wild as the Zora's in Wind Waker were turned into the Rito to prevent anyone from finding Hyrule beneath the Great Sea. The Rito in BotW might be a unrelated species that naturally evolved.
