I believe this may, in effect, be a commentary on P5's lack of a Hot Springs Episode, something which both P3 and 4 had.

Definitely something I'd like to see them add in for the inevitable re-release...

Given the history of hot spring scenes in the Persona series, the male members of the Phantom Thieves dodged a bullet. Their predecessors weren't as lucky. The male members of S.E.E.S. were victims of a Mitsuru execution. The male members of the Investigation Team were pelted with wooden buckets even though it was their turn for the spring.
