Lol He's not concerned about girls right now in general.

All pairings are going to flop until he either achieves his desire, one girl makes an impression on him that just as big as a pokemon's (cuz obviously Serena's kiss didn't even make the guy flinch so how do you beat that...), or he ages.

All are unlikely.
Doesn't really stop shipping from being fun to fans though, eh?
Though some fans DO go way too far, as with most, if not all fandoms....

All pairings with the guy are still really damn cute IMO.

Remember Giselle? She generated far more of a reaction from him. And she was just a one-shot character of the day.

Giselle was created before they finalized Ash and Brock's personality. The current Ash would never react to her, and Brock would think she's too young for him.

Serena is probably the closest the show will ever get to giving Ash a girl, as the director even said they basically tried as hard as they could to push them together without making the rating of the show too mature and without changing Ash's personality.

The only other time the show has ever pushed a main girl on Ash is Misty during the Orange Islands, but Johto essentially killed off Misty's feelings and personality.
