I like to imagine she is the "gyaru" equivalent to your standard Cheshire Cat.
Instead of using dyes and make-up to adopt a much flashier appearance than their peers, they actually dye their fur much more plain, standard cat colors, to stand out from the rest of the richly colored mess that is Wonderland.
