So bittersweet.. It just feels wrong to see such a young-looking girl have to have a baby alone. It's bad enough as it is, but let her and Kudelia have a girl too. Maybe let the sequel be a the whole family fighting or something.... I promised myself I wouldn't watch the show until I live on my own, so I have no right to butt-in saying things like this when I don't know the story or scenario. Maybe it's perfectly beautiful already.
I just want to avoid the Eureka 7 Ao, Dragonballz, Boruto, Inazuma 11 (and common in all western media) trend of mains being the parents of the (almost always) male next gen main chars. It just seems like we're using women's reproduction capabilities as a tool.. I'll be glad to be shown otherwise.
