Honestly I wasn't expecting the universes to actually get deleted. End of the episode shows that Zeno/Grand Priest were serious about it.

This is the Dragonball franchise we're talking about here. Death means absolutely nothing in this series. Between all the BS and reviving a tyrannical overlord I'm half surprised the series didn't decide to bring Perfect Cell back to life just for haha's.

I would honestly like to hope that their wish isn't just to bring back all of the destroyed universes but to merge all of the fallen universes into Universe 7 to create a universe that can go on par with the other universes that weren't going to compete but are surely watching.
