She is holding an egg in her hand, indeed. One of the hidden "easter eggs" in Resident Evil 4 was that you could equip eggs and throw them. However they don´t do any harm it looks funny when an egg hits an enemy. Especially when they are wearing glasses, which also was an "easter egg" that only appeared in the PlayStation2-Version of the game; that some of the villigers wearing glasses after you play through the Seperate Ways-Game with Ada at least one time.
