Honestly it's better quality than some of what 23 has produced. There was that weird period a year or two ago where they forgot how to draw faces (which hasn't really changed) and even drew a godawful picture of the DSG with a tiny head, massive body, and legs that were way too long proportionally. He's always had a problem with faces it seems because his early work also had some issues.

There's a big difference #2167407. The characters from anime are protected, the characters of an online artist are not. If the artist wanted to claim 23's characters were theirs it'd be a lot easier to get away with than if they tried to claim an anime character as theirs. It's another case of stolen OCs and the exploitation of freelance artists. You can make pictures of anime characters because they're recognizable, that's just fanart-- but making pictures of someone's OC when they didn't ask/didn't know/were never told is theft.

HMMMMM Seems pretty obvious to me. Learn what a double standard is before you go tossing it around because it's cut and dry that big companies have nothing to worry about while small artists are cheated all the time. Ask any online artist how shit it is and they'll back me up.

No, as far as I can see the outrage here has more to do with these two characters being fucked by men. I.E it is just some fans of these characters that are angry that their favorite lesbian couple are taking dicks up their asses.
But you should think about it like this. It is free advertisement for the artist that created the characters. The more artist that do fanart of a character, the more exposure these characters will get. The more exposure a character gets, there is a bigger chance they will get sponsored and get their own manga.
