Last logo is 2006-2016 now, today Nintendo has a new logo which is the inverted red/white.

Its a simple, memorable logo in most renditions which really helps with brand recognition. Especially on the near global scale Nintendo has business in.

Its pretty interesting to see all their logos except the newest one like this.
