No that’s not right. touko, touya, kyouhei, and Mei
are different. And on the bottom yo and mizuki got
a redesign so the difference is on the top and the
same is on the bottom.

It certainly seems that the SM protagonists are the same as the Ultra SM protagonists. They sure seem to have had significant makeovers so it looks like they're completely different people. It will probably take a few months before the confusion is cleared up in the pokemon art community.
