Interestingly, there were a lot pre-release theories about a direct link between Lillie and Nihilego, and now the anime has one, the cause of Lillie's fear. I can see her having a breakdown when Nihilego will be fully introduced first, leading into a personal arc of further personal development (complete with change of hairstyle and dress).
