But, try arguing your position on any yuri board .

Try posting futa on 2chan or 4 chan, 7chan or any other /u/ board, try iichans female only, try shoujo-ai.com or any other yuri website or forum out there and see what happens.

Yuri (the term which denotes sexual orientation)
Futanari (the term which denotes presence of a penis on a female)

To me, they're different terms describing different phenomena.

With regards to image tagging (which is all that matters), I believe futa and yuri should be used in conjunction if that is indeed what the image contains. This is to distinguish between girl/girl futa relations and the admittedly small niche of man/futa and boy/futa relations.

Even then, the tagging will be lacking; because this doesn't give the end user enough search specificity.

What if a dude wants to find a futanari girl with her penis going into a dude's butt? The only real option there is to search "rating:explicit futanari anal" and sift through the images provided. This is unacceptable.

I think it's time we devise a better form of notation for tagging futanari images!

you guys are arguing over NOTHING! observe all of the current tags. right above futanari is the "futa on futa" tag. there is absolutely no NEED to put yuri as a tag. yuri is supposed to be 2+ NORMAL girls, no penises involved. futanari is specifically girl on girl WITH futanari all combined into one cum-filled tag. case closed. now if you don't mind i need to imagine myself growing a dick and being like those girls :3 kthbai.

Zafmg and edkane are wrong and Anon1 and Anon6 are right: futanari is not yuri. This is the official stance of both this site and Danbooru. The fact that a penis is on the chick makes it not yuri period.
