Santa's the ultimate ninja. He sneaks into every house in the world, all in the span of one night, without anyone seeing him and lives in a house nobody can find no matter how hard they try. And his helpers aren't elves, they're midget ninjas with nasty attitudes that would as soon kill you as they would look at you.

Also, Santa's suit was originally black. That red color comes from the blood of all the children who snuck downstairs to try and get a peak at Santa putting the presents under the tree. He has to kill them, it's part of the ninja code!
