Yeah, he will. Vegeta will get a few clean hits on Jiren then Jiren will reveal how much he's really been holding back and stomp Vegata into the ground. I don't even like Vegeta all that much and I feel bad that's what he's been relegated to.

I don't give a damn! Get those hits in on that alien prick! I'm sick of his damn face. If nothing else, I hope the show Jiren learning to actual respect his opponent and stop laying about. Pride Trooper is a perfect name for that grey fuck. But I think he's going to meet his match in that real soon, for better or worse. And for the first time in a good while, I'm psyched about a fight, even though we all know how it'll end. Getting knocked off by Jiren would be completely acceptable.

To be honest, why Goku can pull off only x20 kaio-ken anyway? After couple of days of training on the way to namek he could do x10 without much sweat compared to x4 making him num bduring fight with vegeta. At this point he should do xgadzillion kaio-ken.
Also, can vegeta get at least once get mcguffin transformation first?

Vegeta will get good hits on Jiren in SSG while Goku will need the crutch call Ultra Instinct

So either Jiren's been nerfed. Vegeta's been boosted. Or the writers don't give a shit, because it looks awesome and will make people tune in regardless of the outcome.

Possibly going for the third option.
