@Anon, It's because of the age, it's a legal thing, they cannot show genitals and have the show classified below R18, so an anime, but they can show nipples, with the exception that below I think 14 or 13 they cannot, Mikan is I believe 12 but Nana is 14, same age as Momo, so, they cannot show the nipples even though later on they did, maybe because in Darkness she aged a year and was 13 then.
