Most likely intentional, as it is nothing new for hentai studios to create characters physically resembling non hentai characters. It is more likely to give them money than creating some oc design.
I remember one mobile hentai game where pretty much every character was a stand in/expy for some well known non hentai character. I think the game was Osawari Island, not sure.
