What a marvelously captured moment.
So close. Just so close. Just another minute, maybe a few seconds, and she could have dialed the police. That's all it would take to end this nightmare. Safety, freedom, an end to all the things he's been doing to her, just inches, moments away, snatched away the second he walked back in the door.
She'll never get another chance like this. Never. He'll be more careful now. Stronger bindings, locked doors, no phones in the room, his ass is on the line too, he'll never make a mistake like this again. She's doomed now, completely, and she knows it.
