Dude i watched these animes around the same time and it even confused me. -Have i seen this before- kept going through my head because of the resemblance.

I saw Chiaki a bit before Taiga,when I did I thought "hey she looks like some other gal in anime" then it dawned on me-she looks like little turd head!

Now let me explain that "Turd-Head" name I've given Chiaki...
That little dollop,ahogi,whatever on top of her head reminds me of nothing more then a small turd pile and worse it's drawn almost exactly the same.
