This goes both ways actually. while it is perfectly normal to be gay and i whole-heartedly support it, i do believe that gay people themselves need to think of it as normal. they don't need to overly advertise themselves out in the open as gay. cause it just comes off as not necessarily obnoxious, but unnecessary.
How many times we see straight couples making a big deal out of their relationship's sexual nature? we don't, because being straight is very normal and isn't worth extra announcement. gay people need to do this as well. gay people need to completely make their homosexuality a normal, to the point that it becomes an instinct, just like breathing. couples of both nature, hetero or homo need to stop caring about what the world thinks of their private relationships, they need to be themselves, not caring about others is the first step to be in a healthy and stable relationship.
Though this picture is cute so i think i'll put it on my phone homescreen now.

It's not the only thing that makes us who we are but personally it kind of annoys me when I'm out with my partner and guys come over and try to pick us up. Just telling them we're "not into men" isn't always enough to make them give up. However when we dress a certain way or wear shirts like the ones in the picture it tends to keep them at bay.... most of the time.
