you wear pantyhose with boots that tight.. socks would make them too tight. (sort of like how men wear thin dress socks with dress shoes, b/c if you wore normal socks the fabric wuold be too tight and make them thick).
Or, the pants could go all the way to the feet and simply have a foot loop that goes under the heel to hold them in place while you put the boots on. Problem with that is the boots can rub and chafe your feet while walking around. And foot odor becomes a problem b/c lack of ventilation.
Guys don't know how much suffering goes into looking good.
