When it comes to censorship in Japan, the law is really irrelevant. What people should really learn to do is to ignore that idiotic law and draw uncensored guro/hentai. Why the fuck abide by the law no one could possibly enforce? What, are they afraid of Japanese police tracking them artists down and issuing fines for not censoring their pictures? That′s never going to happen. Plus if you′re so afraid, then fucking don′t put your name on it—release your artwork anonymously. People really are imbecilic these days: they don′t even realize that their personal authority at EVERYTHING must always stay over any other authority, including the one of their state, let alone enforce it. The law is not a rule or a dogma—it is merely a hint of what police/officials won′t be happy with and MAYBE will TRY to prosecute you for IF they manage to get enough EVIDENCE. Value your own authority more than anything else and never allow any shitty law impose limits on your personal freedom. YOU are the god of your own world, remember it.
