It's probably one of those corrupt "Protect the children" things! Those kind of people think that you can protect children forever from the "nasty, evil" sex! This shouldn't even be an issue, considering that CHILDREN ARE NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE FOR PR0N! But of course, the psychos would have you think that "Oh, it's a cartoon, which means that they're trying to appeal to kids!".

There was a little law laid down by U.S. diplomats concerning the depiction of genitalia in visual media - specifically none allowed. I'm not sure if it's still in affect but if it isn't, its a recent change.

You guys need a history lesson. Check out the end of World War II and General MacArthur's "help" in writing the new Japanese Constitution. There was a little law laid down by U.S. diplomats concerning the depiction of genitalia in visual media - specifically none allowed. I'm not sure if it's still in affect but if it isn't, its a recent change.

Anon 2 is correct. Although it is worth noting that the censorship clause was included as a concession to Japanese conservatives who feared the corrupting influence free speech might have upon their youth.
Considering some of the fucked up shit that comes out of Japan, I'd say they missed the mark.
