Get over yourself. This outfit didn't show up until the 3rd of the original trilogy, for one, and for two, pg-13 didn't exist when the original trilogy was released.

The fact remains that Disney Star Wars hasn't, and will not take any risks like the previous Star Wars did with stuff like this. They're playing it so safe that they point-for-point copied the plot structure of A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.
