Yeah I noticed there's a space behind Sonic. Maybe Tails? I know for a fact we'll be getting Shadow as Sonic's Echo but having Tails also makes sense. Keeping classic Sonic and Tails together is something I can see happening knowing Sakurai liking to keep the classics.

Keep in mind that the characters have shuffled a couple times to account for new releases, empty space here and there means little. I do agree that the newcomer announcements are not over, however.
