"Shell casing" wouldn't actually be correct, as these cartridges are caseless.

I think they could have solved the cook off issues by making the solid propellant out of an insensitive compound with a very high burn temperature and had it triggered by a spark or pulse of electricity like the M61 Vulcan cannon instead of a hammer.

You could argue caseless ammo is a deceiving name, since they male a "case" out of a solid compressed propellant and have the bullet in it like telescoped ammo. You can make the argument it's only caseless in the sense that it burns up when ignited and there is no spent casing to eject, but it still holds the bullet before then.

Well, it doesn't have a cartridge case like most modern 'fixed ammunition', the propellant makes up the body of the cartridge and incinerates on discharge. In that sense, it has a lot in common with old paper cartridges for muskets, only a lot more sophisticated.

There's a lot of tags here regarding technical details of this weapon (which is an unusual one, admittedly), but it feels maybe a little excessive to define things like "proprietary_ammunition" or "polygonal_rifling" (which isn't even seen in the image), and there's redundant ones too.
I would simplify down the tags for the weapon and ammunition as:
rifle
assault_rifle
heckler_&_koch
h&k_g11
ammunition
caseless_ammunition (maybe)
weapon
gun
