As much as I enjoy seeing Nami in just a bikini top or whatever, I do really like the possibility for more normal clothes that can get wet and potentially see-through even that’s probably less practical since you’re essentially surrounded by water and there’s a good chance you’ll get wet and swimwear being on hand just makes sense and is probably less tricky to draw and animate. I mean the fabric itself, where it’s wet or where it clings to the body, etc. It’s just more work than necessary.
