Lol, yeah great job "censoring" the legs Nintendo. Totally doesn't make her sexier or anything.

So it's fine in her own game but she needs to be covered up in another one? What, is Smash set in the UAE or something?

^It's not Sakurai's fault but CERO's(the game rating system in Japan), since in Japan Ultimate is rated A(the lowest you can go for kids), I assume Saks didn't want to take any risks with either Mythra or Camilla's designs(the ones that are censored, same reason Tharja's Smash 4 trophy in the 3DS version was cut).

I like how this really has made her look BETTER than she is in her own game. That little bit of censoring helped compliment her clothes better.

How is it not Sakurai's fault? Censorship for the sake of age rating is no different than any other kind of censorship. Wanting to keep the age rating low is not a valid justification, I mean, that excuse didn't work for any other censorship that people got angry at.

^Do you even realize how strict CERO is? In Smash 4 Sakurai had to increase the length of Palutena's dress and make the slit in it show less of her leg(changes that were transfered to Ultimate) all because CERO considered it "inapropriate". And since, again, this in Japan is rated A(once again, the lowest you can go for kids there), all of this was done most likely because they did not want CERO annoying them nor did they want a higher rating.

How does one tell the difference between "censorship" and "design change"?

^One is done with either minor adjustments or a complete overhaul to the character's design in mind, while the is done because either certain part or parts of a character's design is either considered controversial or in this case the design of the character in question is considered to be inappropriate for the form of of media they appear, regardless of what way, shape or they appear. If you don't like censorship that's fine, but you have to understand that they did this to both Mythra and Camilla because they didn't want any backlash of seeing T rated designs in a E10 game, even if the way they appear happens to be minor.
