I don't everybody to ship these two but it's really stupid to say that she hates him. Way to completely miss the entire point of that final scene on the beach. One person can't speak for every Asuka fan, by the way.

@Mr_Jive if that's what you honestly think then you literally missed part of the meaning of the entire show and you're ignorant to how Asuka fans (and many EVA fans in general) feel about this pairing in general. You're just projecting your own beliefs. Not to mention Anno himself has confirmed that Shinji and Asuka do have feelings for each other that part of the source of conflict in the show is their inability to be honest with each other.


Plus the pairing is already canon in the (official) Angelic Days AU.
