I think Annie is probably one of the best characters in the series. I love how even though she’s a villain and does terrible things, she clearly has remorse for her actions. She’s clearly just a soldier drafted into war she doesn’t want any part in and only really thinks about getting home. But it IS war and sometimes you gotta do some awful things that would get you locked up if you did it without the backdrop of a war. She’s not evil or anything, her only real problem was she was born in different place and on the wrong side. There’s definitely something real and complex about an antagonist like that.

Also, she’s hot, a badass and has a nice ass.
