I don't think there's any way she could physically even lift the Buster Sword off the ground, unless her Trance form gives her some sort of freaky physical strength boost.

I meant physical strength, I know she is very strong with her magic but unless she is somehow freaky strong physically, there's no way she'd be able to heave the Buster Sword over her shoulder.

She can totes lift the Buster Sword. Swords were her main weapon in FF6, and she was one of only three characters who could use the biggest, heaviest swords. And she did it one-handed.
