Okay, here's my initial evaluation of the new starters:

Grookey is hands down the worst. The design is ugly and uninspired, not to mention this is the second time a monkey has been a starter. We also still have bad memories from the elemental monkeys of gen 5. We can cross our fingers that its final form will look kickass to compensate, but so far last place goes to you.

Scorbunny is easily the best. The design is equal parts cute and tomboyish with its scrappy but adorable face. I am genuinely concerned we are going to get another Fire/Fighting final evolution based on its first stage appearance, but I suppose even the best option can come with drawbacks...

Sobble feels dead in the center. Its design is cute if not a little simplistic but seems like it could go either way in the eyes of the fanbase. I'm kinda hoping its final evolution is something super round and derpy because I like super derpy stuff (Hail to the Quag-Sire).
