It’s like Roshi if he weren’t a borderline sex criminal and could be taken seriously. But also remained consistently powerful and relevant so that he doesn’t need some hand wavy explanations for a sudden power boost after doing almost nothing for an entire series.

It’s almost like he’s being handled by someone who can actually write.

And it's almost like that this writer is able to connect major plot points in a story that involves having an important hero network that was created because of a child with testicles for a chin.
