Anyone else find it weird how taking DNA from someone that is probably one of the best fighters on the heroes’ side and mixing it with some from the Tarkatans doesn’t produce a better fighter? I mean according to Scorpion, they’re “legendary warriors”. Maybe he oversold them like Ben Kenobi when he described Stormtroopers as precise marksmen.
But it definitely feels like Mileena should have a bit of an edge or advantage over Kitana and give her the fight of her life instead of losing outright every single time they face off right?
In fact it feels like if you’re on the villains’ side, you’re definitely gonna lose regardless if it makes sense or not. Like Bi-Han, the former best member of the Lin Kuei supposedly becoming stronger in death according to himself just can’t seem to win a fight now.

It's called plot armor. There's actually several examples of Storm Troopers being good shots and Tarkatans being good albeit animistic fighters. The heroes make them look bad because if they get shot or eaten then the story ends quick and on a downer and can't progress.
