I'm more mad at a character with an almost fully realised moveset being wasted, the same goes for Alucard.
It would be like turning Ken into an Assist Trophy instead of being Ryu's clone.
Other assist trophies may have one or two moves they execute when summoned, but Zero and Alucard just miss a few attacks to be a danm fighter in this game.
