Hmm, call me crazy but this MIGHT be legit canon.
Why else did she completely end her association with Kisuke and return to live in Soul Society permanently? No doubt something frisky happened in that final battle besides Urahara transforming her against her will.

@ Anon2^, In the novel 'We do knot always love you' she's stated to be a full-time instructor at the Shinigami academy. She and cyborg Kira even discuss the Soul Society's dark past and wonder at all the lies they were taught in the history books(they become the first Soul Reapers to openly question/challenge the truth of the Spirit King and SS history in general). Sui-Feng sees them and becomes jealous believing Kira is trying to seduce her. It's flat out implied that she and Urahara no longer see each other and are on rare speaking terms.

They weren't THAT close to begin with! Yoruichi hid out in soul society 99% of the time, she and Kisuke rarely saw one another for decades on end, only working together during a crisis before parting ways. They have lives away from each other despite being 'friends', Kubo depicted them quite realistically imho...
