But that's beside the point. I haven't played to game to be honest, but unless I'm mistaken... Isn't Ness and co. supposed to have Robot bodies when they finally go to challenge Giygas?

... I'm guessing the artist of this pic thought it'd be better if it wasn't Robots who were lying down beaten.

Ah, I love Earthbound. The end was great! Very eerie, and this picture depicts it perfectly. Maybe not *accurately* since they were in robot bodies, but the feeling is spot-on. Wouldn't be the same to see beaten up robots...nor would it be very recognizable...

What Paula's doing isn't just a help to win, it was the *only* way to win at the end. Giygas wouldn't go down from anything other than the shitrocking he got after enough Pray commands were used.

And I agree, the picture wouldn't be as good if it was game accurate - showing the characters themselves conveys something the robots bodies couldn't.

anon 6: you can just kill giygas first fomr with posion (2500 hp i think), 2nd form, where you have to pray, has endless hp.
