One of Phoenix Magnion's attacks creates holograms of Vile, Agile, Bit, & Colonel to attack Zero while he is being held down. Iris should have been included in this attack, but Layer was introduced several years after MMZ2's release.

What Anon#2 means is that X8 (2004?) came out later than Z2 (2002?), so Layer didn't yet exist in the MM franchise.
